  • How do I re-learn my remote?

    Step 1: Properly install 12V A23 Batteries

The LED signal light should illuminate when either button is pressed on the remote

Step 2: Install 4 AA Batteries in the receiver. Notice there are 3 positions on the slide switch. On/Remote/Off

Step 3: Make sure the pilot is lit.

Step 4: Have the receiver in correct position.

On - lets you manually light the appliance.

Remote: lets you use the remote to ignite the system

Off – disables remote & turns off the burner

    To learn a remote:

Put receiver “slide” in REMOTE Mode.

Take a small pin and press “Learn” in. You will hear an audible beep

Press any button on your remote, it will beep, and remote & receiver is learned.

Step 5: Continue holding the knob in for at least 30 seconds.

Step 6: Release the control knob. If the pilot stays lit, proceed to the next step. If not, keep repeating 3-5 until the pilot remains on. It sometimes takes longer at the start of the season, Try holding longer, than 30 seconds.

Step 7: Once the pilot stays lit, move the control knob to the “ON” position. The main valve to the burner pan will now open and light your burner.
